Re: engine

As long as the mustang is a 5.0 I see no problem. There the same heads and intake. Almost no differnce. The cam I think will be a differnce. If you talking rebuilding to stock, but if your talking more performance, it will improve very little.

Re: engine

BlueAnodizdStl the heads on a mustang are different than the ones on the Crown Vic. But the upper and lower intake, will fit, the heads will fit too even know they are different. But the cam i am not sure because to my knowledge most mustangs came with the HO and the firing order is different on that 5.0 than yours. let me find ouit and i will let u know.

Re: engine

I know the heads will fit. When I took a set off a 1992 mustang (valves got burned and the owner wanted new ones) I compared them to my crown vics heads. Valves are bigger but not by much. I know the intake will fit cause I put one on a budies 85 crown vic. I ported and polished it all. Getting the EFI system on the 85 to run a 90 intake was fun.
