Engine ID Help Please ..... 1988 5.8

just picked up a 351w that only has a few thousand miles on it but has been sitting around for a while. Tying to figure out exactally what this thing came out of?
A friend told me it may be out of a 1988 bronco or crown victoria? so im posting it here to see if any of you can varify.

Block Casting: E4AE-6015-FA4 ..... date code 8C10.. (1988 March 10th)
Heads (351w cast iron) ..... date codes 8C16 .... (1988 March 16th)
Intake D9DE-9425-CB .... aluminum 2v ....
NON serpentine, rear sump oil pan
also has double roller timing chain

I do know its a 351W (5.8) and judging by the casting date codes, built for a 1988 production year car or truck ,
but looking for more info; specs car or truck it was made for etc....
never appears to be apart, took the pan and valve covers off to inspect.

any accurate info is greatly appreciated

Post this in the engine forum, you may get a better chance for an answer there.

Re: Engine ID Help Please ..... 1988 5.8

Got this off the internet where somebody somewhere was asking the same question:

E = Decade (1980s)
4 = Year (1984)
A = Original Model Line (Generic Ford/Galaxie)
E = Engineering Department (Engine)
6015 = Basic Part Number (Engine block)
FA = Change Level
