Hi to all. I have a 1989 Crown Victoria. The problem I am having that is really mystifying me is my ENGINE light. I am told that is vehicle has an ENGINE light and a CHECK ENGINE light.

Well, especially in the summer, after you start driving for about 20-30 miles, with the air conditioner on, the ENGINE light comes on. I go under the hood. No water or fluid spraying out or leaking. All reservoirs are full. No other lights are on.

I'm expecting for something to blow or something, and I get nothing. If I turn the car off for about 20-30 minutes and restart, the light is not on, but comes on again after driving w/a/c on. (ps) it came on in winter after idling for about 20 minutes w/heater on.

Any suggestions for what could be wrong would be appreciated. sahm

Hey Man,
Take your car to Autozone, they will run a check on your car for free. This should tell you what the problem is.Mine does the same thing and it is a EGR problem. Chances are it is your problem also. Good luck.
