I'm desperate now to find an answer to this problem that has plauged our CV since we purchased it 2+ yrs ago. This could be a long one. The problem is with the way the car handles. At highway speeds, when you hit expansion joints in the roadway, the cars front end seems to bounce and shake and pull the steering to the right. This happens quite violently actually and can be scary to someone not used to the car. If you're in a corner, and you hit a harsh bump...it will jerk and bounce quite nastily to the right and could throw you out of control. Now, we have had this to three dealerships, and an auto expert in town (who works primarily on police cars) and none can find the cause. We have repalce the steering box, pump and any worn front end parts. Shocks and the tires. Nothing helped. I would guess this must be common for these cars or there is something really seriously worn with ours. So why can't anyone find it? We're frustrated to no end and I'm hoping that someonme may have an idea or ran into this before. I'm seriously considering getting rid of this thing but I just love it sooo much.
TIA,
Pikk
