Front End Shimmy/Shake

Hi everyone, I just purchased a 2000 Grand Marquis with 131k miles. It has a shimmy or shake that feels like its coming from the right front wheel area. It seems to be worse at slower speeds. The car also pulls to that side driving down the road. The previous owner replaced both front wheel bearings and had an alignment done(supposedly). The right front tire has wear on the inner edge but doesn't seem to be bad enough to cause the shimmy. He told me the wear was from when the wheel bearings were bad. Just wondering what would be causing the shimmy? I've had ball joints and tie rods go bad before but it never quite felt like this. Any replies appreciated

Re: Front End Shimmy/Shake

I'd see about a good alignment. A good shop won't leave a bad tire in the on the car no matter where it's positioned. The pull could be from several things but thealignment should be taken care of first.

Just to add to Bert's advice , seems like you may have a twisted / mis-shapen tyre also .
