The gas tank is mounted up in the well between the rear axle and the trunk area.

Current mods:
12" conical K&N filter, Custom side exit exhaust with X-pipe and Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers, replaced stock fan and clutch with PI electric fan and PSM fan controller, Aluminum PI driveshaft.
Body mods include a '95 Cobra rear spoiler, tinted windows, 17" Mustang Split 5-spoke rims w/ P255/50-17 BFG g-Froce TA radials, and a 14,000lb Auxillary Trans Cooler.
Interior: Custom A-pillar guage pod w/ Digital oil pressure and Trans. Temp. guages.

Thanks MarqMan, they turned out really nice. You can't see it in the pic, but I had some Mercury symbols cut at a local sign company. Then I filled the horses in the center caps, painted them, and put on the Mercury stickers....almost looks stock!!:D

Nice to know yours is still going strong at 200k+....that makes me feel safer in pushing mine a bit before dropping the bucks on a new motor and tranny. Getting my "wish" list together so when I start my rebuild life is going to get interesting!
