Going to buy a 2005 GM LS (probably)

Anything to particularly look for?

If it does not have a Universal GDO, has anybody installed an aftermarket?

If it doesn't have parking aids (You know, the sensors on the bumper that go beep-beep) has anybody installed an aftermarket?

I currently Belong to another forum for my other car, a 2004 Tbird. Their Search function is just as lame s this one.......LOL!

TIA!

You can buy a Homelink from Ebay and install it in your sunvisor or get another sunvisor with it in already. Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market is a good wrecking yard search. The aftermarket parking aids are on Ebay for about $20.

Re: Going to buy a 2005 GM LS (probably)

Thanks Bert.
Found this pristine 2005 Grand Marquis LS.
Only15000 miles.
Estate sale.

It already has Homelink.

I will take it down to one of our local custom shops for Parking aids and iPod solution.

It will probably outlive me.
Whynot? It oulived the first owner.

Great looking car. Hard to find any with low mileage like that.
