Hard Shifting AOD

Hello, this is my first post...

I have a 1990 Mercury Colony Park and it has starting to shift pretty hard lt both up and down shifts. It shift at the proper speed but it a bit hard and jerky. It was rebuilt about 4 years ago but I have only had the car about a week. The previous owner said it was normal but I don't agree. Any thoughts on what would be causing the hard shifting. Oh and the TV cable is fine. Thank you.

Re: Hard Shifting AOD

You say the TV cable is fine, but what's the condition of the plastic bushing at the throttle body end of it?
