My 1997 Grand Marquis has the following problem, when it is dark, key out and the doors closed the dome light will come on and then go out, over and over. This happened last year then stopped and now it is back. I have read other posts but I did not understand how to fix it? can anyone help?
My first assumption is that the switch in one of the doors is now connecting well. Check the switch on each door. If you have the patients, you may try connecting the terminals on each one by one to see which one is the problem. as soon as the light comes on you can dismiss that switch
