Hi. I just picked up a pair of lambskin seat covers for my dark charcoal leather seats.
However I am having trouble removing the headrests so that I can slip the covers on.

I have the Ford C/D for this year and it shows a picture with the plastic inserts uncrewed all the way and a small tool (a blunt pick-like thing that I actually have) and the caption "remove clip".

Well, I looked down those holes with a magnifying glass and a flashlight and I saw no clip, AND if there is a clip, it would be impossible to replace it without tearing the leather.

I'm sure some of you guys have done this. What am I missing besides maybe another cup of joe?

Thanks Bert. That helped. You have to really look hard. There is a tiny little wire poking out way down that hole 5 and 7:00 just like he said.

Now it seems these Costco generic seat covers don't really fit too well on these semi-bench seats.

I will search the forums for info about better fitting lambskins, but for $60 I may keep these, with their lifetime warranty.- BA
