heater fan resistor 94 crown vic

My heater in my car only works when it is on high. I have read that it means the one of the resistors is bad. Where are they located on a 1994 crown victoria. I see a couple of electronic boxes behind the glove box. Is one of them it?

No , it is located on the fire wall in the engine bay next to the air conditioning box. It has two tiny screws in it and it is about 3"x 2" in size.

thanks a lot. I am glad I did not bring my car into the shop for such an easy fix. You guys saved my $50 for Christmas presents.

Re: heater fan resistor 94 crown vic

Resistors controls the speed of AC/heater fan. When the resistors burn out your fan will only work on the "HI" setting. "HI" setting doesn't use any of the resistors and that's why it works. check your resistors..
