high idle rpm in park grand marquis 98

When I put the car in park the idle is excessively high. I already changed the IAC AND TPS a few months ago for hard starting and still has hard starting today. Should I check the MAF or replace and check the vacuum system parts which includes DPFE SYSTEM for 4.6 ltr engines or basically includes egr control valve, egr valve and the dpfe itself? no engine lights have come on. I may just buy the 3 parts and change them out> linkage is good - nothing stuck has about 114K miles on engine. the high idle is in the am and pm so temperature does not seem to be affecting it.
thanks art san antonio texas ki5op

Hello, I dont know the numbers on the RPM, but you can tell it is really high than it used to be. Been wanting to switch out some vacuum components, but costly. FYI If you ever have to change a started (3 bolts) your in for a real job. need to have the right tools. I did it myself, but never again without the right tools. one of those spring extensions will greatly come in handy.
