i got a 94 crown vic, i was on the highway comin home the night before thanksgiving. im driving and the speedometer starts going down i step on the gas nothin at all, i get off to the shoulder and it just dies. i try starting it it cranks but doesn't start i wait a few and try it starts but quickly dies. anyone know what it might be? o and my rear defroster doesn't work and the fuses are good just can get it to work please help...

I'm going to laugh my butt off if its out of gas :) Sounds like fuel filter or regulator. As for the defroster, those switchs in the A/C control corrode or wear out some times, a few dollars at the parts store or a few limbs at the dealer fixes that.

Mine did that once long ago right after a hard vibration,it was the fuel pump cutout relay located in the trunk on the driverside, behind the carpet that was tripped. Reset it, no harm done if that ain't it.Unhook your fuel line right where it connects to the fuel rails and blow some air back toward the tank. If it starts after reinstalling ,you know it's the fuel filter. Try these simple things before going all out. If that don't fix it , then your only out about 1 hour and no dollars. Good luck.... and let us know what happens.

check wiring harness on drivers side back of fender well the one on my
old 94 interceptor wore threw two of the main wires for the ignition
