I noticed when I bought this Merc that it had a delay going into Drive or Reverse from Park (or N). Now I notice that at a stop sign with it in gear at idle there is a vibration,with or without the A.C. on. If I just slightly raise the idle with the gas peddle it goes away. I'm sure it is a low idle condition.
I have read somewhere that there is no adjustment for this on our cars (of this year range), but that if you disconnect the battery for a while then when you resume driving it reprograms it's self. I was wondering if this would be useful or is there another way to get the idle speed up a bit?
Maybe there is a condition that would cause this low idle. It's really no big deal but I want it set correctly. Thanks-Brian

I'd check to see if there are any codes first. Then if there are none, unhook the MAF abd see if it makes a difference.
