hi everybody whats up? my speed sensor on my 2000 grand marquis just went bad and the CEL came on. i purchased a new one and i need to know the location of the speed sensor. does anybody know? i already searched and didn't find anything.

It should be located on the transmission extension housing (tailshaft housing). I believe it'll be driver's side, but there's a slim chance it's passenger.

i thought it was on the rear differental its part of the abs sensor ?

ABS sensor should be at the rotor. Speed sensor is usually located on the output shaft of the transmission.
