can anyone tell me whats involved in installing dual exhaust on a 2006 grand marquis. looking to boost horsepower and increase gas mileage. is this worth considering or would it be a mistake. is this something that can be done at a local mufler shop? will the computer need to be modified? thanks

Actually its all bolt on parts and something you should be able to do in a couple hours. all you need is the H-pipe, drivers side muffler, muffler hanger, tail pipe, tail pipe hanger and maybe a couple clamps. you can probably buy all the parts from the local parats store, such as Advance, Auto Zone or Napa.

the computer doesnt have to be re-calibrated for it, but some sort of hand held tuner would really wake the car up.
