Hi, I'm a newbie poster and hope i am in the right area. I have a 1988 mercury grand marquis with 60,000 original miles, but it keeps telling me "Insufficient Egr Flow". I already replaced it once with a new sensor and valve, I am still having the same hesitation problem. Anyone know why?

Have you tried to add vacuum to the valve to see if the car will run rough or stall at idle? It could be plugged passages or the vacuum control to it.
