Re: ive got two questions...

Has the transmission been serviced lately? If not, that would be a good starting point. Does the ABS light come on and not go off at all, or does it go off and come back on when you start driving?

Re: ive got two questions...

I would start by cleaning all of the connections involved with the wheel sensors with contact cleaner and reassembling with a liberal amount of dielectric grease.

At this time you could also measure the resistance of each sensor with an ohmmeter. A passing test is a resistance of 800-1500 ohms.

Re: ive got two questions...

If the light doesn't go off and come on when starting to drive, the wheel speed sensors aren't the problem. If the light comes on when you start moving, the sensors are the location of the problem.

Re: ive got two questions...

The wheel speed sensors are checked when you start to drive unless they're unhooked. The trans still shifts funny?

Re: ive got two questions...

The ABS and transmission problems aren't related. For the ABS light=have you checked the fuses? #15 under the dash and the ABS fuse under the hood.
