Smile kittens like crowns

My sister is off at the strawberry festival here in belleville. She had me feed her cats. She has 14 cats and about 30 or so kittens running around. Where on a 5.4 acre ranch soo its not a problem. I feed the cats before it got dark and got to petting this little plump kitten. Scratched it behind the ears, on the belly, on the nose ridge, and rolled it around for few minutes. It was full from eating something (I still don't know), had to be something good cause it filled up on it. Well I left the kitten to change the spark plug wires on my crown vic. Why'll I was doing that, the plump little came looking for me. Aparently wanted to be petted again. I had the car on the hoist with the driver door open and the hoist was down but was like a set of stairs. The little kitten with its plump belly climbed in the driver seat and layed down. I got done with the wires and went to start the car. I have a keyless remote start and used it. The car started and all I heard was this odd purring.... The vibrations made the kitten purr why'll I spent 20 mins trying to find this new noise.... I put the kitten back with its mother why'll it was sleeping. Cats are cute at a young age :) Just like kids..... Any one have any stories like this?

Re: kittens like crowns

I think the rumble of the 4.6L OHC V-8 has something to do with why kittens like the Crown Vic. It reminds them of the mother's heartbeat and when she purrs.

Last week, we adopted a brand new kitten and he just loves to ride in our 2000 HPP (P73) Crown Victoria. Most cats don't travel well, but he is the exception. When the car is moving he falls asleep. When it goes over large bumps, he wakes up, but falls back to sleep in a few seconds. He is your typical 5 month old kitten with lots of energy, but when he's in the car, it's time to sleep.

Re: kittens like crowns

My car has a 5.0 HO, its a old 87 LTD CV. I love little kittens, there just so cute. Those 2000 HPP are a great car, great ride. I'd most likely fall asleep too :)
