I believe so. I think it's 2009 that all Panthers will become fleet only.

This is sad news. The best (in my opinion) car Ford puts out and they discontinue it.

What does "fleet only" mean exactly...only bulk orders will be sold?

It means they'll only be available to organizations that want to buy an entire fleet of them, i.e., police departments and livery companies.

dang man didn't know 08 was the end of the line. I had heard that the Crown Vic would probably go into fleet in mid-08 but wasnt sure of the Grand Marquis.

With the closing of the Wixom plant I knew the TC was supposed to move production to the St Thomas plant. wonder if that's still gonna happen?

I was told that the rear wheel drive platform that underpins the Vic and Marquis was sometime in 2010 as demand for the model is still relatively high and Ford should have a replacement rwd sedan by that time - in production of course.
