Making sure this is the Blower Motor Resistor?

It's on a 1996 Marquis with auto temp control. We're having the classic "only high fan" issue. From what I read, this is the location in the picture attached. The only thing throwing us off is the autozone picture of the automatic temp control version shown below.

Does the external part of the resistor look the same on a auto vs manual version?

The resistors are different. They're located pretty much in the same place as in the second picture.
