Got a rough runn'in 91 Crown Vic that is giving me diagnostic codes 22 (MAP) and 34 (EGR). Both sensors are getting good voltage. The systems holds 5 in-Hg so I don't think I have a leak. I tested the EVP and here are my results: between 0 & 20 in-Hg, I read 3256 Ohms to 655 Ohms respectively. Haynes says that value should be between 5500 and 100. Are my readings bad or typical? Also, I do not have a tach to test the MAP. Does anyone know of an alternate method of testing it (maybe a volts conversion?).

Anyone tested these sensors before?

I came across a site that has a method for testing Ford MAP sensors. I haven't tested mine yet because I just did the simple test of unhooking the vacuum line. Mine died right away but it may not be working right. Try this test and let me know if the values are anywhere close.
