18 second 1/4 mile. I suppose that's okay for a 2.73 gear ratio. I could change it out for a better time but I also enjoy 21 miles a gallon.

21 mpg sounds a little low for a 2.73 RAR. Are you driving mostly highway?

Is it? It is a 351 afterall.

Most of my driving is mainly highway yes, but sometimes I have to use ethenol blends because it's all I can find sometimes and it throws my mileage out the window.

How the Hell are you getting 20+ out of a 351?!
Is that thing all stock? That may not be the best time in the world, but hey- at least you're getting out there to see what it can do!

I have a nifty little vaccuum gauge so I know when I'm pushing too hard, I keep it around 60 on the highway which is a little slower than the posted speed, but if it means saving a little bit of gas and spending more time I'm all for it. Gas jumped by alot this last day to $1.07 a litre. I hardly drive it anymore which is a little depressing. I often ride my bike to work instead since I'm so close.

But yes, it's completely stock except for the carburator which I replaced so I'm not using CFI. It was fun though. No one said anything about it for there have been worse things on that track.

Yeah. They get uppity because they have to wear a helmet and wait in line and all that. I mean when you're a ricer who's even got the time for a helmet? First aid? Pffft. Nah. I'm a ricer and I'm an awesome driver. Ignore the fact my aftermarket bumper is all banged up from being able to tell when there's a parking curb in front of me because my reclined "racing seats" don't leave me much to look out of from my windshield.

BAH!

I had a great time. 4 runs all nearing the same times. My friend in that GTA thought it was a hoot.
