Muffler Suggestion

I am trying to change the sound of my 99 P71 I would like that classic muscle car sound blum blum blum blum.... But nothing too loud or obnoxious. I don't have that much money and I was looking at some Flowmaster options the 30, 40, and 50 Series Delta Flow® What do you use?

Re: Muffler Suggestion

I put on a cherrybomb glasspack, not too loud on my car (84) but it is kind of noisy for driving around early in the moring, but you would have to bend some pipes or get some new ones to make a straight through work

Re: Muffler Suggestion

Magnaflow can help you out. So can Borla. Flowmaster is another...but brand name isn't as important as size the of the muffler. The smaller it is, the louder it will be.

Re: Muffler Suggestion

I have the 50 series delta flows. They sound great. At idle there is a soft grumble. When I step on the gas it get nice and louder.

Re: Muffler Suggestion

Nice pics, Tex. Clean as a whistle. Has that "PI" look with the old school wheelcovers. Very nice.
