Ok, I'm looking at a 2001 P71 model, and i want it to almost mimic the look of our Ontario Provincial Police undercover cars, which it pretty well does... but, I'm thinking a set up blue/red LED strobes for in the grille, a set of about the same thing for above the review mirror inside... As well as a cold air intake, high flow exhaust, supercharger, and a programmer from Superchips. As well as a public announce/7 siren system. Does this sound good to you guys?


Also I am wondeirng the difference between P71 and a civilian, other than the heavy duty stuff. I know there is basically a shift kit in the transmission control unit, but is there any other preformance differences like the engine or anything??? Please give as much informaotin as possible...

there is no difference btwn the pi and civi models. except for some 'heavy duty stuff'.

my hpp comes with all the same heavy duty stuff. it is nothing special, nor does it make your car indestructible. the only difference is in the programming. there are some shift point differences, slightly higher rpm's, etc.. there is no shift kit in the trans.

if you want to get a supercharger, wait a few more days. aed is opening there doors again on july 1st. they used to make a bolt on kit for the panthers. they may have it again.

as for the lights and stuff... personally i would not mess with it, unless you are a leo. it will only get you in trouble.
