Odd shifting

I got my '04 CVPI about a month ago now and I've noticed that when I'm driving like an a**hole, my car shifts odd. It's kind of hard for me to explain, really the only thing I can compare it to is it sounds like I'm physically shifting it from 3rd to 4th as if I had a standard tranny (which I don't)

Is this normal for CVs? Or is it possible something's wrong? Nothing really seems wrong, but I'm used to my truck which never hesitated like the car does when shifting.

Re: Odd shifting

We've had some show odd shifting when the fuel filter was plugged. You might give that a try unless you've changed it lately.

Re: Odd shifting

Nope, doesn't rev up when shifting into forth as far as I can recall.
