I put a MSD 6AL on my 87 CV. I also odered a TFI Coil and Dist. With that MSD along with nice Bosch Platinum 4 spark plugs and split fire 8.8mm spark plug wires it roars like the beast it is :) I swear 80's CVs were ment for MSD. Theres a flat place on the drivers side inner wheel well (theres a vacuum can there). I moved the vacuum can back some and placed the MSD there and it fit like a glove, and then the vacuum line for the can reached with no probs. That sucker goes now, and I swear the MPG raised a coulpe miles. I'm also in the process of making custom latter bars for the rear, theres nothing wrong with the ones on there but I want a slight more angle then it has so I get more bite. I also tracked down a 1991 ford Lighting 5.0L upper intake manifold, those are bad ass for 5.0L engine, there tube construction with flate surface plates. Got it for $450 with new sensors :) When all the parts come, who wants to race? >:)

The more I let it run the smoother it gets, got to the point I thought the engine stalled but didn't. It also has real pep (poor corvette on the highway :)). The only thing bad so far is the ignition sensor (its on the steering column). I'll be replacing it tomorrow with a new one. Also I need to find out why my doorlock remote won't work, will not go into service mode and will not lock doors when you start vehicle and unlock when you turn vehicle off. Its a cheap Auto One system I had to reinstall cause Auto One can't install for SHHEEEIIITTT!!!!!
