Anybody know where I can get some for an '82 Crown Vic? NOS or good used?
Tried ebay and next stop is to local U-pick

Go with the newer design. They're 16s, so you can run a lower sidewall and keep the stock tire height.

Check your local police station. A buddy scored a full set for $75 from a unit they were about to ship off to auction.

Hey thanks. Which rims are interchangeable? My 82 is not a P71 its a P74 I believe. Are all years and types interchangeable?

They all have the 5x4.5" bolt pattern from 1982 (I think- not positive) on up to the brand new ones.

None run more than a 7" wide wheel stock, so you should be good to go as long as it's stock. If you want wider (like Cragars) you need to be sure there is NO MORE than 4.25" backspacing. I'll be running 15x8s with 4" backspacing, come March.

...but if you can score some police wheels, do it. They're fantastic.

When you say police wheels do you mean steel or aluminum? I have tons of steel wheels, I'm not sure if there police or not.
