P72 Project Week 8.5 (The Finally)???
Hi Everyone, Today marked the Return of my 88 P72 from the Paint Shop!!!...The Car is Now a Very shinny High Gloss Black!!!..I have taken certain Liberties with this Project...The Chrome that goes over the Wheel Wells has been Deleted...The Gives the car in My Opinion a more Ominous Look....This also provides a Cleaner Area for the Non-standard 5.8L Fender Badges that will be Applied Tomorrow by Me!!!.....I was fortunate enough after many months of shopping, to be able to find American Ford 5.8 Fender Badges at a local Auto Show...This is after I spent Top Dollar for the Solid Chrome Ford of Australia badges....The American Style is more Low Key in regard to Shine vs. The Aussie Badges!!!..The American Badge also has a Red Decimal Point that provides nice Contrast on a Black Paint Scheme!!!!....It's all about tasteful accents to add to the Beauty !!!..........This car being a 351w vs. a 5.0 warrants the Badge of Honor....In the coming months as New Super 351W HO Engine I'm building is Installed , I will feel even a Greater Sense of Pride in those Fender Badges....This is not a childish attempt to make the car something it's not at present!!!(Rice)...This in very short order will be one Powerful Beast!!!...I'm Looking forward to the Next Level of Project 88 P72!!....As you can tell I have broken this project up in Stages!!!...We are now entering the Final rounds...The New Engine and a Bullit Proof Exhaust System will tie it all together....Pictures will be forthecoming!!!!!......Allen aka King of the Battle Boxes!!!!
