hi every one if any one can help me out here it would be greatley appricated i have 1997 grand marquis every thing works great .i have recentley replaced most of the a/c system condensor, compressor, a/c evap canister and both of the control switches on the high and low side of the a/c lines. every thing was working great the a/c was ice cold for the past 2 months. i recentley put the heat on the other night all was working well and than the next day i went to put the a/c back on all i got was hot air out of the vents i check the compressor it was spinning and working well, all of the a/c lines were getting ice cold but the air was still comeing out hot does any one have a clue on what it could be i was thinking maybee in the vent system one of the many doors did open or close let me know what you think thank you

That's usually the blend door motor. It's located on the top of the plenum inside the car. To replace it, the instrument panel would have to be removed. You can usually hear it run when you move the control from hot to cold or the other way.

either the blend door servo went bad or where the servo connects to the blend door broke. most typical is the door itself breaks

thank you for the quick replys does any one have a pic of it or know what i have to take off to get to it with out destroying the whole dash if any one has any insight on the blend door or the motor plz let me know i will be attempting to do it tommorw thank you all once again for the help
