i'm looking to buy a police interceptor from a local police auction and i'm trying to find out if an 03 crown vic has the PI heads or not? does anyone know?
thanks

well when i pick one up from a police auction i'm going to drop a roots type supercharger in it. i found one from frpp that looks like it would fit under the hood pretty well, i'm not sure how cramped it is under there yet.
btw i knew PI meant performance improved, not police interceptor. i just didn't feel like typing performance improve.

I'd really recommend that you visit crownvic.net and do a little research on your blower swap.
not really sure why i mentioned it, just that a lot of people think the PI stands for police interceptor.
2nd on looking further into the blower. my intent even before buying the car was to put an AED system on it. from my research, the FRPP system didn't get raving reviews, i'd say the AED system is the way to go if you do decide the car needs an S/C.
i just ordered a premium fuel tune, marauder airbox/maf, aviator throttle body and 04 zip tube from BOC. i think i'm gonna wait on the AED.
