Really stupid question about the 1990 ford country squire!

Hi all.
I have just started restoring/modernising a 1990 ford country squire. On the dash it says LTD CROWN VICTORIA. Is the country squire a higher trimmed version of the ltd crown victoria? Bit confused about the similarity or not!
Wikepedia states:
Station wagon
A station wagon version was also produced, both as the LTD Crown Victoria and also as the LTD Country Squire. The Country Squire featured the traditional wood-grained body side panels. The car came with standard roof racks, and fold flat dual 3rd row seats, which opened sidefacing. The tailgate opened two ways, down like a truck, or sideways much like a Honda CRV. The car also came with plush seats and dual rear cigarette Lighters
This almost implies they were different.
My car has all the extra trim (side facing seats, wood trim etc) see 1990 FORD COUNTRY SQUIRE - FULL SIZE ESTATE on eBay (end time 11-Sep-09 18:36:11 BST)
Finally, does the 1990 ford crown victoria shop manual cover the country squire?
Sorry for all the uneducated questions, but I am in the UK and these vehicles are few and far between!
Andy.

Re: Really stupid question about the 1990 ford country squire!

The Ford repair manual covered all lines of the full size car. As far as the trim, I can't remember exactly but I think they all had the 2 way rear tailgate. Just that the Country Squire was a highline version.
