this may be a stupid question, but here it goes. i was thinking of changing my rear dif to maybe a 3.73 or a 3.55 gear. do i just change the ring and pinion, or do i have to change everything in the rear end. 88 cv 5.0L. any ideas?

All you have to do is change the ring and pinion and get an install kit too. But if you are going with that type of ratio I would think about putting a posi in at the same time. And I would have a pro do the job because the gears have to be timed just right.
