Like most auto speakers they are 4 ohm.The rear speakers of my Vicky are coaxial (two way) but after 12 years of use the tweeter in the center was bad due to dust and debris in the voice coil, freezing it.The main cone was still servicable but you would be better off replacing both rear speakers.Even with a stock radio, the difference with new coaxial speakers is amazing. Also remove the rear covering that hangs down into the trunk. It was put there to protect the cones of the speakers from being blown up by trunk slamming.Newer speakers are more rugged.By doing this you get better bass response because the trunk makes a great baffel.Nobody has to slam a trunk hard if it's working properly,it's just a bad habit.
I'm a retired electronic tech and spent many of my younger years under dashes and trunks installing radios and speakers.Belive me it was easier back then.
