Quick question I'm replacing my water pump and I noticed upon purchasing the new one there's no gasket. Is the liquid gasket maker the only thing supposed to be used?? And if there's any other pit falls or do's n dont's I should know or keep in mind while replacing it. It would be much appreciated. Thank you

There should be an O'ring seal. Go back to where you bought the pump and tell them it's missing. The seal usually comes with it. Rub it in coolant when you put it on the pump.
