Is there any way to make my Grand Marquis ride softer and steer more easily? Softer shocks, or a steering adjustment? I had a 74 Marquis Brougham that would glide over the road like a boat, but this 2004 is more like a sports car, and that's not what I want. I don't care beans about cornering or road feel in the steering.

For shocks I like KYB GR-2 all around, nice ride. Another great shock is a Gaberial Red Rider (great prices too). Or a Monroe Blue something (I forgot). For steering, as far as I have ever known or seen any upgrades for that, the only thing is Mog upper lower ball joints and tie rods with polygraphit bushing all around, made my steering softer and faster but by very little, and cost about $1400 (poly kit and Mog is real pricy).

Whoops, it was about $1000, not $1400 for the full switch. For the shop to do it it was $1400 (I did it on my own :)).

I also have a 2004 Grand Marquis and it rides terrible,i traded my 97 LHS for it and kinda miss the ride,is there an affordable kit to switch to air controlled ride?
