Hello, im looking for sites that sell cheap accessories or interior parts for the crown victoria, even if it from china or from the hell i dont care i just want my part and i want it now

im searching for the steering wheel cover " the airbag cover " without the airbag itself or the horn just the fiberglass part, such as the following pic:

i really cant find it anywhere!
how come no one have it at ebay and these sites?

I saw at least 28 driver air bags for 01-04 crown vic's on e-bay. Price from $50.00 including shipping on up. Nobody has a cover without an airbag. I have never seen one?

I took a look at the way too many airbags we have in our stock room. While it appears that they can be disassembled, they shouldn't be. Any time an airbag is found defective, the entire airbag assembly is replaced and this is a universal rule for shops and technicians. Manufacturers don't offer parts inside the airbag or the covers to the airbags and this is why you can't find parts. This is a major safety component in your car and used incorrectly, has potential to be highly hazardous. Youtube has videos of people sitting on airbags when they are blown and these people are in some cases being launched into the air.

I'm going to jump out on a limb and say that any business that sells airbags probably wouldn't or couldn't sell you any airbag if they knew or thought you were going to disassemble it for any reason. The liability would be huge.

With all that said, why do you just need the coverings?

I posted that video last year in " The Pub " . Crazy foreigners , but the booze the're drinking probably scrambled their brains ( if the've got any ).Airbags are dangerous things to mess about with .

Because i have the airbag already but the cover is affected by deep scratches

!!

Have you checked out fordpartsgiant.com? My grandfather also owns a Crown Victoria and he swears by this website for nicely discounted OEM parts. I perused through their website for him on more then a few occasions and I recall them offering a vast array of interior replacement parts. Hope this helps!
