Good Morning, i am new to this forum and want to say hello.

I have a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis , and lately in the mornings i noticed the whole rear of the car is sagging , almost to the tires. Once i start the car and start to move it levels out is fine for the rest of the day. Ive searched the forum and saw some potential issues but wanted to ask to try to narrow the issue down. iam not sure but since the sag is gone after starting the car what could be causing that? any help would be really appcreiated.

Iam leaning towards an issue with the air suspension, would an issue with the compressor cause this do you think?

in australia we had air suspension on some falcons. the 2 main places they leak were the airbags and compressor.
Spray the air bags with soapy water and check for air bubbles.
With the compressor ours had a inlet pipe check to see if yours does. with the sysetm pumped up and key turned off take that inlet pipe an put it in some soapy water if there are any air bubbles your compressor is leaking.

thanks ian , i am thinking its either of those two issues. today we sat on the back of the car and the compressor came on and lifted the back up so its looking like a leak. ill keep you posted.
