Ongoing problem.
Cleared up FP code p0232. (FP secondary circuit high) I cleared the codes, took out the relay and cleaned the posts.
Code hasn't come back.
Also cleaned the MAF.
Car stumbles almost like it's not getting enough fuel or good enough spark.
Replaced the coil packs, disconnected MAF and problem is less severe but still persists.
Any ideas anyone?
Weak fuel pump maybe?
Not throwing any codes except O2 sensor.
thanks.
97 MGM True dual, 91 octane tune (SCT), 3:27 posi added, CAI, 70 mm TB
Waiting in the wings= 32 V Lincoln heads, PI intake~ headers to be determined.
Yep.....Tried retarding in 2 degree increments and no help.
Also tried changing the lean/rich WOT. No help there either.
Am at a bit of a loss.
Maybe I got bad coils?

Tried advancing rather than retarding timing ? What mileage on vehicle ?
I haven't checked fuel pressure yet but am seriously thinking that might be the issue.
My code for FP secondary circuit high came back after some test driving.
Looks like you have to drop the tank for that.
The O2 codes are reading low voltage, slow circuit response and circuit malfunction.- So I'm thinking they're just simply shot.
And RS Logan, I did try timing advance and it seemed like the problem was worse.
Milage is about 160,000... Kinda high but compression, etc. is good still.
Without going back through previous posts and seeing you say the cyl compressions are o.k , not something simple like plugs ? or have they been replaced / eliminated .
It's been suggested that I try Motorcraft Platinum plugs so when I get back from this latest trip (drive a rig) that's what I'll do.
Along with a fuel filter.
Start smart and small.
Thanks again.
UPDATE!
Put a new fuel filter as well as new MAF and though the car ran markedly quicker/better it still didn't fix the problem.
I then replaced the NGK plugs with Motorcraft Platinum (.054 gap, 7-15 ft lbs torque, btw)
and the problem is GONE! Woo hoo.
Still have that pesky code P0232 though...... That's next I guess.
