I came across this article on www.insure.com, and these are the top 10 most expensive car to insure:

4. Cadillac Escalade

7. Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

and the least expensive cars:

Hmmm... the Mercury Grand Marquis is #6, huh? I wonder why the Crown Vic isn't in that grouping too since it's the same car? Interesting!

Could be that there are more GM in private ownership than CV. More CV in fleet ownership.....just a guess.
