Hello Bert
I have a 1500 lb popup trailer that I will be towing with my 98 vicky.Will I hurt the tranny if I tow it in overdrive or do I have to wait until I reach highway speed before engaging overdrive.Someone told me my vicky wouldn't even notice it.My hitch is rated at 5000lb.

You shouldn't tow over 2000 lb. Otherwise all is well with driving it in any gear. If the driving is where the trans shift a lot, I'd take it out of overdrive, in traffic and climbing grades.
