trans acting insane

99 crown vic
replaced transmission with one i found in my shop
car drove fine for about 3 weeks now when you shift it in neutral the car moves forward
also it has no reverse
any input would be excellent

Sounds like you need to adjust your shift linkage!

i have not been able to get the car on a lift yet because of another crappy crown vic with an electrical problem
i will check it out and let you know asap

Click my tan CV in my sig & look thru the Steering Column album. The shifter tube is known to break, and there are upgraded parts available.
