Re: Tune-up

Awesome pics man! Those spark plugs look like they went through hell and back lol

I'm waiting on a few parts to come in the mail to finish my car.

My engine is pretty dirty too. I plan to go to the cars wash and spray it down with their engine cleaner.

Re: Tune-up

Hey im planning on doing a good cleaning on the entire engine and when i was looking around planning everything this is what i found.

how can i clean the inside of the spark plug whole so i wont have to worry about anything falling into the combustion chamber.

what is that plastic piece underneath the throttle body (as you can see it all needs cleaning)

Close Up of the throttle body

Both valve covers are in need of HEAVY cleaning (i took purple power and engine degreaser and the grease is still hard to take off lol)

Re: Tune-up

The best way to clean the holes is with air pressure. Could you rent a small unit to blow them out? Start from the front on the passengers side and rear from the drivers side then go over it again and look down the holes to see how they look.

Re: Tune-up

If you mean a flat plastic piece, that has wiring in it to run to the other side without getting in the way or damaged with linkage.
