Valve covers - Ford Forums

Hey Im planning on removing the valve covers (so i can give them a good cleaning) since im taking them off im also going to be replacing the valve cover gaskets..

my question is how hard of a job is it and how do i go about doing it.... there is sooo much stuff around that i have to worry about taking off and anything important i have to be careful of.

Get a Haynes or Chilton manual for reference. It's not a REAL easy job and needs RTV cement in some spots. Best get a manual or clean them inplace.
