Question Wanted: Late Model Crown Vic Radio Wiring

I have an 03 Crown Vic. I need the plug that goes into the back of the factory stereo with about 6" of wiring. My stereo was stolen and they cut the wires. I have a replacement OEM radio but need the plug. Help?

Re: Wanted: Late Model Crown Vic Radio Wiring

Hi I have no idea if they are the same (probbly not but worth a shot). I just replaced my entire stock system in my 90 GM. If you can use anything that came off the car I would be happy to ship it over to you (as long as you pay for shipping, normally I would but im on hard time's atm, put to much into my projects heh :) ).

I can tell you it probbly won't work, but on the odd chance it dose i'd be happy to help you out.

If anyone wants any of this (speakers, wires the whole deal) I'll send them to you. The radio is no good, we destoryed that thing trying to get it out of the dash. Word of advice to anyone doing a replacement headunit install. Its going to be a tight fit once you get the new unit in. And the clamps to get the old one out may have a hard time pulling out the radio. We had to resort to 2 flathead screw drivers to get my radio lose.

Theres 4 holes in the face plate of the old radios that you just stick a small rod in or buy a radio remover bars to get it out. I have about 10 of those old radios.

I know, the rods we had would'nt hold the radio right. We could get it about halfway out and they would slip. Tried alot of diff rods with the same result, we just figured that overtime something in there must have broken so we got some flat heads and yanked it out in about a minute or so :)
