They are special lug nuts. Wrecking yards should have them. Even the Rangers use them.
Do you have a part number? What do I ask for, if not? I imagine that it's only either junk yards, or dealer only, right? Can't get them at auto parts stores?

I can't even find anything close to a lugnut on the CarPart.com website. I looked under lugnut, wheel nut, and nothing. What else is it called?
I've come too close to completion to give up now! Without the center caps, it looks horrible!

I hope it's called the "wheel cover retaining nut'', because that's what I just ordered.
Thanks,
John

the lug nits look like a standard lugnut with a ring/collar around them for the center to snap on to... check this link as example minus the threads on the nuts... post 2345
Well, to finally put an end to this, I got my lugnuts today. I just got every thing together, and on, and I like the look! I was considering trim rings, but after following the wife down the interstate in my semi, and watching everyone fly past me, and slam on the brakes when they got to her, decided to leave well enough alone, and not bother with the trim rings!
At least I finally got my 'summer' tires on, and looking cool in the process! The wife want's a spotlight, and I said NO! This is good enough! I'm not putting a hole in the "A" pillar!

Keeping with the whole 'cop car' look, I found these emblems on Ebay for like $3.50 a piece! The guy even split the shipping, since I ordered both at the same time!
Even though it's a Mercury, it still looks cool with the emblems on there!
