I wouldnt want to trade my car for anything, the marquis is such a sick car to drive.

I've got a '97 Grand Marquis GS, and I'd like to put my car under the socket wrench over the summer. I've got about 5 grand to play with, and I was wondering what you guys have done to some of your rides to help them keep up with the new imports? I know I'm switching over to dual 2.25" exhaust with Flowmaster 40' mufflers, and I was thinking of buying a cone intake and possibly a superchips ECU.. What else can I do to roast these guys, and how much of it is doable from my own garage?

with that money I would put on PI heads and intake, then have car computer tuned.
PI=(performance improved) used on newer Grand Marquis and Crown Vics.

Seems too good to be true, there's an actual supercharger kit for a '97 GM. Hah. I'll see about getting that done later in the summer. I was having so much trouble finding one, heh. Does a supercharger mess with a Superchips ECU tuner, or would they be able to run together?
