What Rear End will fit 01 cvpi - Ford Forums

i have a 01 cvpi and the rear end is out called around to junkyards and cant find one, does it have to out of a police car??? will any other model fit, what gears do i want? or should i get it rebuilt? help....please...thank you

There are many options available. What it will ultimately come down to is what you want to spend. The rear doesn't have to be out a police packaged car. Check out this website for your options: Yukon Gear & Axle There are also a few other companies that are great with gear work, do a search and you'll find them easily. Randy's ring & pinion is my #2 choice. Still, Yukon Gear should be able to hook you up with whatever you want.
