What Type Of Gas For A 1999 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

My dad bought me a 1999 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor at a police auction. I was wondering what type of gas should i use in it such as Regular or Premium or the middle gas im not sure of the name thank you. Rember its the police model.

It should run well on regular. If it's at leat 87 octane, that should do the trick.

When I picked up my car, I tried running 87 oct, but ended up with a bad pinging. I found out that my car has a 93 oct tune so after about 3-4 tank fulls of 93 the pinging has stopped.
