where is the compressor?

Howdy, working on the old man's Crown. It's a 93. Compressor for air ride suspension has gone out. When I looked at the problem a few months ago, I could tell where it was by sound. But now it's not turning on at all. Is it on the drivers or passengers side? Does it come out thru the wheel well?
Thanks, Stacey
